[Phoebe Wren]

"Oh, you were there too?" she snickered at Axel and moved her chair over to Coryn. Despite looking worse for wear, most of it seemed superficial. There would be bruises, and maybe a scar, but the injuries didn't seem to be too bad. "I kid though. You did a hell of a number on him, Axel. Before you head to bed, you're going to get a couple more stims to help your body recover from all that trauma. The guy was good at returning the favor it seemed."

Finishing her assessement of Coryn, it was time to work. "Right, let's get that sanitized and dressed, vod."

OOC: Axel will get two stims, which will heal for the total of 11 Wounds.

[Axel Ward]

"Huh." Axel grunted. "He was pretty good, I'll give him that." He grimaced.

After considering a moment, he shook his head. "So... do we know what's gonna happen with him?"

[Coryn Kusat]

"Well, we'll have to question him. We got the data he was after for the Cartel, but he's got Intel that Kairi and Treya needed." He shrugged. "After that I don't know. He's wanted for murder on... Most places."

[Phoebe Wren]

"Probably back on Mandalore and Concordia too," she commented harshly. Not that she knew for sure as she hadn't been back there for years. But The Hangman was not exactly an honorable Mandalorian in her eyes.

Phoebe did wonder if Vanito knew anything about what happened to her father though.

[Axel Ward]

Axel gave Phoebe a sharp look, but looked away after just a moment.

"I wonder what we do next, then. If we get to make the clan now, or what?"

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose was tired, she was considerably more fragile than the rest of them, but the conversation was of interest to her.

[Coryn Kusat]

"Yeah I've no idea, guess we'll hear from Treya and Rowan soon enough. What a day. Remember the swoop racing?" He laughed, it was an easy way to break the tension. "Ah crap, and I'll have to start over with looking for Valtair. Still, priorities. I'll get her next time."

[Phoebe Wren]

Phoebe caught Alex's look, and there was an awkward silence for a moment.

"Yeah, guess she'll be a problem in the future?" she nodded, looking at Coryn before moving over to wash her hands at the sink.

[Coryn Kusat]

"She was a problem in the past... So she'll be someone's problem, until I stop her. But now I know she's still out there, we'll cross paths again." He looked around and cursed. "I was going to bring the whisky."

[Phoebe Wren]

"Tch, seems like I gotta have your back again, Crank," she commented with some humorous snark and popped open one of the cabinets. There were two bottles of Corellian whisky there, one of them already open.

The bottle gave a solid sound as she placed it down on the table. "Doctor's secret medicine."

[Axel Ward]

"Now we're talking." Axel nodded. "You got glasses to go with that, or are we taking it straight from the bottle?"

He frowned suddenly, looking around. "Riza here? Guess she didn't get hurt, huh?" It didn't seem quite right to have a celebration, even a tiny one, when one of them was out."

[Phoebe Wren]

"I just drink it straight out of the bottle in here," she shrugged and opened it up.

As Axel mentioned Riza, Phoebe felt an odd tension. There was something about what had happened that made her feel awkward about it. Instead of voicing it, she took a swig from the bottle and then passed it to the next person.

[Axel Ward]

Grunting, Axel pulled out his datapad to shoot a quick message to Riza.

He squinted at the screen. That was right, wasn't it? His vision was still a bit blurry, and the screen made his headache worse.

With another grunt, he sent it off.

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose grunted softly, shifting position. She'd experienced a similar tension to Phoebe, not that she knew the Bunny shared her trepidation, only that she'd tweaked that sore muscle. "Well, if the doctor orders, I'm not going to disobey."

[Phoebe Wren]

"Alcohol doesn't mess with stims really, and none of us are on the heavy painkillers - so safe to mix these pills and alcohol. Besides, I brought all this stash - no point in just keeping it to myself."

She sighed and stretched. It had been a long day in armor, and even if she had been able to custom fit it to her, it was still something that was noticeable once it was off.

"That Cadera... he was one of the Death Watch, wasn't he?"

[Axel Ward]

Axel waved a hand, taking a long drink from the bottle when it went to him. He passed it along with a sigh.

"Death Watch." Axel echoed with a grunt. "That was a group during the Clone Wars, right? Said that Mandalorians had lost their way, or something." He'd been studying!

He grunted again. "Sounds like something a guy like him coulda been, I guess."

[Phoebe Wren]

That Axel had been reading up on things did surprise her a little, but she gave him a nod of approval and acknowledgement for that.

"Yeah..." she sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Was before my time though, but... I dunno, maybe it's because of my parents being involved with the Vizslas that I don't think they were completely wrong. Satine Kryze tried to make Mandalorians pacifists, and well, that just seems wrong to me. Pacifism has never been our history or culture."

[Coryn Kusat]

Crank reached over and took the bottle from Axel. "So you were reading those datafiles! And here I thought your datapad was just a beer mat."

"My parents were Deathwatch." He took a gulp of the whisky. "A lot of people joined up because they didn't believe in pacifism. A lot of 'em got killed for not supporting the Empire either."

[Axel Ward]

Axel snorted. "As if I'd set down my beer."

He frowned. "So... what's this mean? Was he just fighting this same war, way after it was done? I've known people like that. Can't stop fighting the same fight."

[Phoebe Wren]

"Mine too, Coryn," she gave an understanding nod. "Being part of Death Watch, that is... though they stuck with the Imperials and the Saxons."

Phoebe had shared this with Axel earlier, but it felt right to share it with the others too.

"Not impossible that Cadera just kept fighting. As you said, some people just don't know how or when to stop. I dunno... we need to find out who he was working with now."
