Only thing left to do was step forward, into the building, ever keeping an eye for what she was walking into.

The interior was barren of any comforts. Indeed, there was little other than a few fold-out chairs for the group inside and the holocommunicator in the middle. It soon flashed on, revealing a Chiss wearing formal military dress.

"You know this one is Mitth’riza‘sabosen?" he asked. The rest of his hired help got to their feet, ready for action if needed.

"Would anyone else turn themselves in?" the hunter replied. He then turned to the huntress, grinning.

Even under her mask she nearly found it hard to contain herself, how the thoughts and calculations ran through her head. It wasn't as she expected but... this presented opportunity.

"You're the one?" she questioned, gripping her palm shut with a fierce force to steady herself.

"You'll have to be a little more specific," the Chiss on the other end noted. He kept his posture upright, his chin high, and most importantly, his gaze tilted downwards.

"It was a clean operation, like every one we ran before. In and out, no one the wiser. Target eliminated and we're all a little bit safer because now we didn't have to go to war over it. That was the standard op," she spoke fully in Cheunh. Wasn't a conversation she cared for outsiders to hear, they weren't a part of this.

"Yet somehow they knew, they knew exactly where we were as soon as we took the shot. For three weeks I went over every detail of the operation in my head, just to be sure, but we knew it the second we heard their boots that we were betrayed. Somebody set us up," she glared at the Chiss on the holo, trying to piece it together, to see if there was even the slightest tick that might give him away.

"If it was a clean operation, then we wouldn't be speaking right now," the Chiss mused. His eyes looked over the thugs that he had set up the meeting. "If you believe I'm responsible for any past transgression, then you'll be disappointed. Degrees of separation, Mitth’riza‘sabosen."

"Nice reunion and all that. I'll just be taking my credits and go now," the hunter butted in.

"We'll see about that," she growled, her eyes were doing a dance however. One of intense concentration, committing every feature of his face that she could witness over the holo to memory.

As for the hunter, he wasn't her concern and she didn't seem to care that he was there even after he answered.

"Goes farther than you realize." The Chiss sighed and addressed the hunter. "You'll have the money wired through the Exchange as arranged."

"I wasn't working with them this time," the hunter countered, "Free agent, all by myself. That means the credits should be wired directly to me."

"Undermining your betters is a dangerous practice," the Chiss commented, his eyes glancing over at Riza.

"It would appear we are both apt at making enemies for ourselves," Riza commented, without looking to the hunter. "Mine will understand, in time, what that means."

Reigniting her glare, she thought to speak the words but simply shook her head instead. There was naught more she could gain from him here, nothing he would not give her voluntarily, now she had to bide her time... and survive, of course.

"I make enemies as soon as I decide to hunt them down," the hunter remarked. He stepped forward and pulled out a credit chit. "Load it up onto here," he said before tossing it over to one of the hired goons.

"Not the most charismatic sort. You're not in binds and yet you came here willingly with him."

"I came here to learn," she glanced at the ranking Chiss.

The hunter got his chip back and he eyed it carefully. "Thanks," he said before pocketing it. He tipped his hood at everyone in the room, starting with the hologram. "Best of luck," he said before leaving.

"What good is information that you won't be able to act on?"

"Day isn't over yet," she said, a shrug for added measure. "I am a betting woman, and I can't die until I've repayed an old friend."

"People die in droves across the galaxy, all with their own cause." The Chiss shook his head. "But I digress: will you be coming with these men as willingly as you had come here?"

"That depends upon the company they intend to be," she said, glancing about the room from behind her visor. Taking stock of who she could see, and where, all the while keeping a natural neutral demeanor as she had.

"Would I even make it off Tatooine?"

"What good would it be if I were to have one hunter bring you and have others kill you? You've seen the sort here; they prefer blood. You'd leave the planet, I can assure you that much."

"Only to die elsewhere, I imagine?" she said, taking her stock of the situation she prepared for a sudden rise in conflict. One, she imagined, she was about to instigate herself. More likely than not.

"Perhaps. But would you rather die close to home or on some backwater planet?"

"I'd rather die last," and with that she reached for her blaster rifle and started to thrust herself back toward the exit. Scanning for her targets. Riza's intent: getting outside of the building, and from there... one step at a time.

The thugs drew their weapons and were interrupted by the Chiss on the other end. "Alive!" he barked, at least letting her know that much.

Outside, the hunter gave a small wave, sword in the other hand. Now unsheathed, it was a Rykk blade. If Riza was familiar with Wookiee culture, she'd know that those were sacred weapons of their kind.

"Hello there," he said, a bit too casually for the situation.

Go ahead and let me know how you plan on escaping. Straight run, hiding, etc.
