[Rose Sorenn]

“I don’t like to count my slugthrower rounds before they’re loaded,” Rose waved a hand flippantly, “hope for the best, plan for the worst.” She clucked her tongue, smiling wryly.

[Orella Laerrin]

"A fair enough sentiment. I hope you feel comfortable enough to relax more among us. That's my goal, at least," Orella said, her smile turning a bit wry, "My mother might want to keep you all on your toes."

[Rose Sorenn]

“I feel pretty welcome right now,” Rose smiled brightly, “and I’m sure it won’t be dull here.”

[Orella Laerrin]

"Glad to hear nobody is giving you a hard time then," Orella said with a sigh. She opened her mouth and then drew in her breath, eventually chuckling. "I probably sound arrogant for wanting to say that I'm the kindest one in my family."

[Rose Sorenn]

“I doubt there’s anything arrogant about you, but I’ll keep that in mind,” it occurred to Rose that the young woman had probably been sheltered from the circumstances that made her family members so harsh, and the idea seemed romantic to her. “They have you in charge of stocks and supplies, right? that means you’re the one the keeps us all running smoothly then?”

[Orella Laerrin]

"Well, I don't want to claim all of the credit. But I do handle a majority of logistics aboard the Aurora," Orella answered. She then took a deep breath and continued. "Lesser role during the rebellion on Mandalore. Had many different clans at that point pitching in."

[Rose Sorenn]

“Good, it’s important,” Rose nodded firmly, “the kind of thing that goes unnoticed when it’s done right.”

"Maybe a bit of acknowledgment would be nice," Orella jested with a broad smile, "My parents already do enough of that though. Plus I'm an adult, I'm a Mandalorian." She did a mock flex with her not-so-impressive arms. "I'm tough enough."

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose clucked her tongue, "of course, no one should go underappreciated." She smirked, amused, as the young woman flexed; she was more gymnast than body builder herself, "I like a tough woman, maybe I should put you to the test."

[Orella Laerrin]

"Ah, well, my mother has put me through plenty of tests. I didn't always do so well," Orella said with a nervous smile.

[Rose Sorenn]

Chuckling, "all the more reason to get some practice. I'd go easy on you," Rose winked.

[Orella Laerrin]

"Can't argue with that logic," Orella answered. She dipped her head but still maintained her smile. "I don't think I'll ever be a warrior like the rest of my family though."

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose's smile was open and friendly, and she shrugged in a carefree way, "I'm no great warrior either, but we get by, don't we?"

[Orella Laerrin]

"No need to be so humble for my sake. I've read your file," Orella mentioned. She gestured to the paired blasters. "I don't think anyone aboard the ship can claim to be as talented with two pistols."

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose inclined her head, "true," she reached over and stroked Kiss, "we've had a lot of practice, spent a lot of time figuring out what works best for me. Like this," the redhead picked up the blaster and unclipped the electronic sighting system, "I've fine tuned this to my preferred firing stance, and the manufacturing variances in the blaster sights, to make it more accurate."

[Orella Laerrin]

"Custom modifications. That's pretty common among Mandalorians." Orella smirked. "Do you find it funny that there's that commonality and then each has a unique arsenal? Sure, there're some similarities but... it's also a form of expression."

[Rose Sorenn]

Laughing, "we're all the same and we're all different." Rose clipped the attachment back in place and set the blaster down again. "You're quite perceptive, I don't suppose you have any advice that might help me," she waved her hands vaguely, bringing them together and interlacing her fingers, "integrate?"

[Orella Laerrin]

"Integrate? You mean with the Mandalorians?" Orella asked. She tapped her chin like many times before in thought. "Resol'nare is probably the place to start."

[Rose Sorenn]

With a self-effacing chuckle, “I don’t know what that is. Sounds like I need to start somewhere even simpler.”

[Orella Laerrin]

"Resol'nare is like the first thing my parents taught me. Second nature by now," Orella admitted. She smiled faintly as she looked to the ceiling in thought. "It's essentially a code of honor. Well, maybe better described as a code of conduct."
