"Don't the men you know cook, since you speak of them as a rarity?" Phoebe asked between mouthfuls of food.

Considering the question, “maybe they could, and just never bothered.” Rose skewered a piece of omelette on her fork, swishing it in syrup, “can’t say I’ve ever had a cooked breakfast I didn’t buy or make myself.”

[Axel Ward]

"I used to..." Axel stopped, frowning. He was silent for a few moments.

He began again. "I used to cook for my mom, sometimes. And some of her coworkers." His voice was even more of a growl than usual.

[Phoebe Wren]

"Hey, it's not that hard to make a breakfast. Bowl, cereal, milk; bam! Breakfast." It seemed fairly obvious to her.

Hearing Axel's tone, she felt a bit of an awkward longing herself for that family life. "Sounds like a fun time..."

[Rose Sorenn]

Laughing, “cooked breakfast,” Rose emphasised, “hot, prepared food like this. Even my standards aren’t low enough to give a bowl a cereal a pass as cooking.”

[Axel Ward]

Axel just gave a discouraging grunt in response. He flipped another omelette out, sliding this one Coryn's way.

"Right. This one's mine." He seemed to be pouring an extra-large amount of the egg mixture into the pan. Clearly he had aspirations for an impressive omelette.

[Phoebe Wren]

"Hey, cereal is perfectly balanced and nutritional." As long as it weren't the colorful sugarbombs that Phoebe enjoyed.

Seeing the amount of egg Axel poured into the pan for his omelette, she gave a short whistle. "Will you be able to flip that monstrosity?"

[Axel Ward]

Axel smirked. "I've flipped bigger. Just you wait."

He added a frightening amount of meat and blue cheese to the middle.
