I think Axel was rather more of a closed book than usual. Maybe people have questions?

Do you think Axel would want to "get even" with the people who came after him or is he trying to completely turn over a new leaf?

It's not about getting even, but he does want them to stop. And Axel only knows one way to get bad people to stop.

Axel wants to turn over a new leaf, but he doesn't really know how. I don't think he's likely to learn anytime soon, either

Or just have Xavien set her up with a nice trust fund?

Axel was great. I didn't try to dig into his backstory too much but it was fun that we got ambushed by goons looking for him on Tatooine

Anything you really wanted to do but didn't? Anything that surprised you about how he turned out?

Mama breaker is doing alright on her own. So I suppose a trust fund. Axel and his mother don't actually get along that well! But, y'know, mother. I wanted to set up a bit of an internal conflict there. But of course, as is the issue with many secrets, a secret mother doesn't actually come into play much.

Hrm. I would have liked a bit more playing with Mandalorian honor, the purpose of a Mandalorian, the Mandalorian legacy, that sort of thing. Axel was a character looking for a change, looking for a new reason to be. That was why he joined the clan. In the end, I'm not sure he found one. He's tight with the members of the group, but he still doesn't really understand how it's different from a mercenary unit.

I don't think Axel himself had a lot of surprises for me, actually. I'd made him with a question in mind, and that was answered within the range I'd considered. I did a lot of thinking about his morality and how he would behave towards things ahead of time. Sometimes I was surprised when something came up, like the reason behind his dislike of even peaceful criminals, but I was not surprised by the dislike themselves. Riza becoming a frenemy with benefits surprised me a bit, but it shouldn't have; the two actually had a lot in common. Probably why they fight so much!

Depending in what order you read these pre-messages, you can pretty much figure out which one was the first and which one was the last.

Any thread ideas you have over the course of the game that you thought might be cool but otherwise never pulled the trigger on? For whatever reason. What was it like? What did you hope it would explore? Why'd you decide not to go through with it? Feel free to answer any of these or more! Or less!

Hmmm... I probably should have done more scenes with Orella. Like, any scenes. I guess we had one, when the ship was being boarded. But heck, I was supporting her! And I did want to explore Axel's not-stabby side more. Maybe that would have helped. Besides, she seemed interesting! Maybe next time, eh?

I also wish I'd started a Huttball league with CRANK. But that sort of group thing is always super hard to do.
