Crank it up (Coryn Q&A)

My first time engaging with Mandalorian stuff! I really enjoyed it, and periods of slow posting were due to my overcomplicated RL. Merc Soldier rocks :)

Fire away if you have any questions, no worries if you don't!

What made you decide to go all in on Mando for the character, rather than slowly easing into it through play? :) (I did enjoy having one more who was already familiar with the language and culture!)

Dennah was totally his ex right? ;)

It was 50:50 as to whether I played a human raised on takes of Mandalorians or a Mandalorian who had lost his parents. In the end I just decided to go all in on the Mando and tried to learn it on the fly. I guess that concept just worked better for me.

Dennah? It's complicated ;)

C'mon, you gotta spill now!

...

It was fun being part of the AXEL and CRANK show!

Any stand-out moments for you this game? What about things you wish you'd gotten to do (or do more)?

I wish I'd been more available. Started well but then there were entire game days where I could hardly post. So I guess Tatooine was most memorable for me. I would have liked to do more posts where the crew all hung out together. I didn't really do any of the sitting around chatting about when we were kids with the Laerrins. I wanted to get more into posting with Maeve and more stuff about uncle Cam.

I really enjoyed Alister (the missions we did with him were really fun). The CorSec stuff was great. Dennah was awesome. I also had a lot of fun with the Axel and Crank show 8-) The scene with Vanito in the med bay, and Axel and Crank investigate were stand-out moments. Also being last man standing in the cargo bay fight was neat.

Dennah and Coryn was more of a fling. There might have been more if she hadn't sold out and left him and his squad for dead. She's responsible sibley for 6 of his buddies dying, so no love lost.

Sorry about the date thread! We could do one for D13, if you'd like. That being said, I almost don't see Coryn aligning with her as much. Would he have supported her if not for their history together?

No worries, I didn't really get the time to set anything up to explore how time had changed them. I think his support for her was mostly shared history and somewhat similar experiences. Otherwise I think he would have given more support to Orella, but I figured she would always be the baby of the group to him. Xavien might have got support if it hadn't been for the slavery thing early on.

I wasn't sure if I should post my totally copy/pasted but I think mine is a bit more specific? So, maybe it might be ask-able enough?

Any thread ideas you have over the course of the game that you thought might be cool but otherwise never pulled the trigger on? For whatever reason. What was it like? What did you hope it would explore? Why'd you decide not to go through with it? Feel free to answer any of these or more! Or less!

Great question/s!

I'd been planning to get more time in with Rowan. I thought he might have been a natural father figure for Coryn and they got along well. I'd meant to do a thread where they spar in the gym, but Even and I both ran into too much RL crap. My hope was to explore the Resol'nare from the family / adopted family side of things, and to see if interacting with the patriarch changed my view on any of the Laerrin kids. I also thought I would do one-on-one threads with the kids, but time makes fools of us all!

So it goes.
