Mos Eisley spaceport. Many things had been said about this place. Most were quite derogatory, but none were quite sufficient. It was the kind of place that Core worlders had nightmares about. For Axel and "Crank" it was a Tuesday.

Coryn looked over at Axel and flashed a smile. "Breathe in and smell those fumes. Jesus Toboga! That's illegal on sensible worlds. Oh hey, did I tell you I've got a hot date tonight?"

[Axel Ward]

In response to the smile, Axel... didn't scowl quite as much as usual. But he still scowled. After all, even if he was familiar with hives of scum and villainy, he didn't much like them.

"A hot date?" Axel half-smirked, half-scowled. "Really? We've been here one damn day, and you've got a hot date?" He shook his head. "Who is she?"

Coryn shrugged. "Yeah, I mean, a day and a half man." He looked around to see if he could figure out where the offices were located.

"She's a local, works in the bazaar. She's cute. We're going for dinner."

[Axel Ward]

Axel seemed to consider this for a few moment, chewing on his lip.

Finally, he shrugged. "Well. Lemme know how it goes." He smirked. "And lemme know if I'm gonna have to sleep in the lounge tonight. Maybe just leave my toothbrush out for me."

[Coryn Kusat]

"Will do." He slapped Axel's shoulder. "That's if I make it back. Don't wait up though." There were plenty of places one could find on a spaceship if pushed.

"Anyway, you been here before? It's not my first time on Tatooine but I don't know Mos Eisley all that well."

[Axel Ward]

"Yeah." Axel grunted. "It's terrible. Can't throw a rock without hitting one kind of scumbag or another."

He glanced around, eyes narrowing. "I've been here before, but never for very long. Just on one job, or another." He grunted again. "Spent more time in Mos Eisley than anywhere else. What's on the rest of the planet but moisture vaporators and sand?"

[Nekoinu]

The spaceport is bustling with people, same as usual. Something was aloof, though, and chats about pretty girls could be awfully distracting.

Axel was always expecting the worst. He usually wasn't disappointed.

As much as it was hustling and bustling, both men noticed some less than savory folk following behind them. They didn't have any heavy armaments on them, but some of them seemed to be gripping their batons and whatnot.

Under his breath Coryn said: "Looks like we made some friends." He looked around for a convenient corner they could walk around and prepare for the inevitable 'polite conversation'.

"Don't suppose one of 'em's your date?" Axel growled.

He slipped his hands into his pockets. One of the ones with the brass knuckles in them.

Coryn would have his corner, one where they could have their little chat without too many gawking eyes. Of course, the people following them came along. Six men stood behind at the exit. They were a ragtag bunch, wearing ill-fitted clothes. Each of them had a green handkerchief wrapped around their right forearm as their gang insignia.

"You the one they call 'Breaker?'" one of them barks. He spread his legs and put his hands on his belt, all macho style.

[Axel Ward]

Axel stared hard at the man.

"I want you to think hard about that question." He said, his voice even rougher than usual. "And how a man might get a nickname like that. And then I want you to walk away."

His stance was casual. He'd danced this dance many times before.

The men looked at each other and the man at the forefront did his best to maintain his composure. One of them leaned in and he pushed him away.

"Get off, get off," he said. He swallowed the lump in his throat and relaxed his hands. "I think we got the wrong guy."

And with that, the group of thugs turned around and left the two initiates.

Coryn took his hand off the pistol grip and watched them walk off. Turning to Axel he gave his roomie a curious look. "You got some unfinished business on Tatooine buddy? Just say the word if there's anything I can do."

Street thugs were one thing, but if these dummies could ID 'Breaker' so could the professionals.

[Axel Ward]

Axel looked at Coryn a moment before giving him a firm nod, smiling. "Watchin' my back's good enough."

He turned to continue along. "Far as I'm concerned, it's finished business." Grunting, he shook his head. "But I guess crime bosses don't like it when you tell 'em you're done working for them, with a side of telling them to kriff off."

Coryn gave his new friend a salute with a grin. "You got it. I guess someone should teach this crime boss a lesson... Anyone in particular? In the meantime though, let's see if we can track down anything about our Mandalorian 'friend'."

He looked around for someone who looked like they might be involved in the shipyard's business, a droid, or (worst case) a computer terminal.

Finding someone to talk to that wasn't necessarily looking for trouble can be difficult in Mos Eisley. And while the dock worker didn't seem like the most pleasant of sorts, he did seem to be involved in the comings and goings in the shipyard.

"Get outta here. And be happy we only confiscated the goods for the safety of the community. Next time there'll be a fine for you," he warned a couple of poor Duros. He tapped away at his datapad, blissfully unaware of the two men on the hunt.

Almost instinctively, Axel moved to stand next to Coryn. He figured best to let the charming guy be charming, while he loomed over the conversation. Just to make sure it all went well, of course. Like a lifeguard. Sorta.
