Rowan's eye scanned the gallery, the crew wasn't big so it was easy to find his target. Collecting a cup of Caf he moved across the room towards Coryn, ending up on the opposite side of the table.

"This seat taken?" He asked a note of warmth in his tone.

Coryn looked back at Rowan over the top of his own mug. For a moment they were both fifteen years younger. Lowering the cup he shook his head and returned the smile.

"Please, it's all yours Rowan. That was a hell of a party last night." His head wasn't too sore, but the caff was keeping him from taking an early nap.

"It wasn't bad, a little tame all things considered." He'd half hoped Axel would of tried to wrestle someone. "You sang pretty well though."

Rowan took a sip of his Caf, and sat down. "Would of been really nice if you didn't slur most of the words."

Coryn chuckled at that and raised his kaff. "You're just lucky I didn't sing in Jawa...or Rodese. Been a while since I drank like that Rowan. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to pace Axel, but it was fun to try."

He gulped down some of the hot beverage. "Amazed I remembered the words. Did we keep you up with the Huttball afterparty?"

That caused the other man to snort. "If you had started to sing in utinni's. I may have had to set you down for a nap." He said with a shake of his head.

"But no, you didn't keep us up. That little bit of a fracas was hardly any noise at all."

"Haha, well then. I guess we'd better try harder next time!" He took another swig.

"You know, it's a hell of an honour to have your family beskad. I wasn't expecting that at all." It was a substantial weapon, much bigger than the kal dagger.

"Well, someone has to wield it, and Kairi keeps thinking a vibrobayonet is a proper weapon to bring to a sword fight." He looked Coryn over for a moment.

"Though by the looks of it you've been skipping leg day, and likely as not find it a bit hefty."

"Is that a challenge, because it sounds like a challenge. I might not be on the twelve waffle diet like Axel, but I'm no slouch." He set down the cup and stood up with a grin. "You and me in the training room. Old man."

"Sure, you can be embarrassed as this old man shows you how it's done." He slammed his coffee and rose to his feet. "You can tell me all about how you flirted your way through Tatooine while you're at it."

"Oh that's just my naturally charming personality. And hey, I'm always up for learning new tricks." He shrugged. "But if you put your back out that's on you Rowan." With a chuckle he downed the rest of the kaff.

"You're going to hand me my ass aren't you. Ah well, I'll just think of all those lovely ladies while I'm resting up in sick bay."

"Too bad we're on our way at then. If we were staying one or two of them might come help nurse you back to help."

"As it is, I'll try not to injure your right arm..." They were interrupted by a shuddering impact and alarms beginning to go of.

"Fuck!" He looked at the other man. "We need to get to the bridge."

"Haha, that's a good one. You're as bad as uncle Cam." Coryn chuckled and patted Rowan on the shoulder just before the ship shuddered.

"Fuck - Interdictor?" His memories of that time off Ord Mantell flashed before his eyes. "Nah. No turbolasers." He nodded at Rowan. "You got it." He unclipped his pistol from its holster and started to lead the way.

"No, boarding pods." Rowan replied as he drew his own pistol. Seems like they're wanting to capture us, or at least capture some of us."

He took off down the hall, they'd have to drop a level to get to the bridge and the elevator wasn't far off.

"Well, 'capture' gives us an advantage." I wonder who 'they' are... Who've we pissed off lately?

Coryn raced down the corridor with Rowan as they went for the elevator. Hopefully it would take the invaders some time to find their way around, or to interface with the systems.

"Oh? And what advantages are those, Coryn? Rowan asked as they arrived at the elevator. It seemed like it was in the midst of going down and they'd have to wait.

"They might pause to see who we are before they shoot us." He tapped his foot as they waited for the lift. "Any idea who it might be?"

Rowan shrugged. "Treya and I have plenty of enemies, not to mention some of the recruits have prices on their heads. Truth be told it could be any number if people."

The elevator arrived and he stepped inside. "As for advantages, aye that's one if them."

Coryn followed him in. "Fair enough. Probably not after me - I'd better try harder." The comment came with a wry grin. He braced himself for blasters to be waiting when they opened.

And they'd need to be, as the doors flicked open they found a group of men waiting on the otherside. Just as surprised as them, but ready to fight.
