[Day 1, Late Morning] Back in Town

[Riza]

"Don't remember an old acquaintance?" she said, voice slightly distorted through her helmet. "Put me on a few jobs that kept you a few happy friends enough to remember me? I know it's been a while, but such a harsh receiving breaks my heart," she said, as if that was something she was known to have.

[Nekoinu]

"Many keep face hidden away. I cannot keep each in my mind," Mekota mused. He tapped his hands on the table and leaned in. "Maybe good I do not know you much. Get me?"

[Riza]

"I get you," she replied as she shifted where she was so she stood more in view. "Name's Riza, got that baby Krayt for you that one time. Lost a few hands on the job, but nothing the Hutt who wanted it wasn't willing to compensate for. Have to break some eggs sometimes," she said.

[Nekoinu]

"I hope you not Riza chatted about to me," Mekota said. He motioned for one of his attendants to pour his drink. In his eccentric mannerism, he sniffed the cup with his snout before sucking it up.

"Okay! That good," he said, shaking his head vigorously afterwards. He then straightened out the lapel of his jacket and leaned in. "Riza wanted alive by people."

[Riza]

"You looking for her too?" she asked, "Could be that I'm in that kind of business, if you needed someone to find them for you. Would just need to tell me the price to get me interested."

[Nekoinu]

"I find bounty often," Mekota said with a nod. He snorted a bit and then grabbed a jar full of powder. A bit more inhaling and he was back to business. "Guy came with 5K credit chip. Not on him, he not that dumb. That the offer."

The rodian looked at the woman eye-to-eye, as much as an intoxicated rodian could with a visor.

"Not good for Riza."

[Riza]

"Not good, who's giving the offer?" she asked, "could be that she's worth more than they're willing to let on just yet. Could be that she's a better friend to have than a meager five thousand credits."

[Nekoinu]

"Maybe. Had red eyes and pigment that remind me of the ocean," Mekota said, "Don't meet many of that kind on Tatooine."

[Riza]

"Unique individual," she said, shifting her position slightly. Glancing around the room without moving her head, the benefit of wearing a visor, she tried to get a feel for which way this was gonna turn.

"Thanks for the information, perhaps now I should get into why I came today," she said.

"Came by to mention I was back in town. So, you got yourself a hunter in town willing to collect some beasts for anyone who wants, or kill some for the same, just need to be sure I get compensated and I'm sure we can both come out ahead well enough. Came to keep friends, and make them," she said.

[Nekoinu]

The guards surrounding Mekota's den were the same as any visit from before. For the time being, it seemed as amicable as usual. The rodian crime lord loved his intimidation tactics, but he didn't have any extra heat packing this time.

"I aid you because you aid me. So I keep you in the know about big bounty," Mekota said, followed with a snort. He leaned back into his seat and shrugged. "No one but you know about bounty. Maybe I keep that way. Guy who came here won't do that though."

[Riza]

"Then that we know each other's intentions now," she said, rolling her shoulder's a bit, "did this guy say much about where he was going next, or where he would be?"

[Nekoinu]

"My home ain't the type he wait at. He gave me info to then give away," Mekota tapped his fingers on the table. "Comm num. He may be type to want to meet with just bounty and the one who bring bounty in.

"Guy went on to give bounty away," Mekota added with a shrug.

[Riza]

"Can I persuade you to give me that comm num?" she asked, already plotting out a plan.

[Nekoinu]

"Anybody can be convinced to give," Mekota remarked, "Info, weapon, money. Convincing is way of Tatooine." The rodian huffed more of his powder and then leaned back with crossed arms.

"Perhaps I have information you might like, or perhaps I will come into some soon that you might make use of," she began, shifting the expectation, "Would the goals of Mandalorian's on planet whet your appetite enough?"

"Nothing can make my tummy not keep wanting." Mekota spread his arms against his cushion, his snout snorting in apparent contentment. "You have info in addition to that? Or that what you have?"

[Riza]

Mekota interlaced his very strange fingers and waited for the huntress' answer. On her end, she'd probably know that he felt he had all the cards. He was the sort to have a solid information network; the comings and goings of a new group would surely come to him.

Details on the people themselves could interest him, but there's danger to letting a crime lord in on individual profiles. Some of the jobs the Mandalorians were taking might also interest him, but talking about jobs to another employer is often bad form.

[Riza]

"There's another man, one with a bounty that's come to the planet with the Mandalorians, so I would be careful if your aim was to attempt to claim that bounty," she said, "but the ones who seem to be searching for him seem to only refer to him as Breaker."

"What I can tell you, in exchange for that comm number, is his real name. Perhaps, with that information, you might just be able to find yourself a new friend or dig up something else interesting on him. Really, at that point, your opportunities are vast are they not?"

[Nekoinu]

"A name good, but now I want to know how you know," Mekota said. He leaned forward now, his snout a bit excited. It couldn't quite be described as a smile like someone with lips could do. "Mando good to have in contact. Not one but many."
