[Day 1, Late Morning] Back in Town

[Riza]

"Someone as smart as you has already guessed, I am sure," she said leaning to the side a bit more. "We've a good working relationship. Already have yourself one Mandalorian, or recruit at least, that finds you not intolerable. Even a bit like-able, if I am to be generous," she said, with a bit of humor that was strained, but still present, coming through the helmets interface.

"Find him, make a friend out of Axel Ward, and you're on your way to having a few more," she said.

[Nekoinu]

"Axel," Mekota repeated, stopping before saying a last name that he totally cannot pronounce ever. He picked up his drink and inhaled the last bit of it through his snout. "Good, good. You have Axel come by and chat. I come up with job to do. You involved too.

"Maybe I chat with man that want Riza bounty. Then I expect you to do additional."

[Riza]

"That wasn't the deal," she reminded, voice edging on sternly.

[Nekoinu]

"Ah, sometime they change," Mekota said. He tapped on the table rapidly with his digits, his snout flaring with excitement. His eyes darted around. It could have either been a sign or perhaps all of the intoxicants flowing through his body. His guards seemed to be looking for a signal and-

"I thought Axel want new job!" the rodian exclaimed before chortling. He slammed the table with both palms and took a look at his wrist chrono. Mekota then leaned back real far, pulling out a syringe from one of his assistant's pockets.

"I do want meet Axel," he admitted before injecting himself in the wrist. He spat a huge wad onto the floor next to him and pointed at one of his assistant's and then to the floor. Wordlessly, she got to cleaning it up.

"You have Mekota comm num. We continue our bond, our pact, another time." Mekota surged up to his feed, apparently much more sober. He held up his hands up high and then slowly drew his pistol. "Mekota go to appointment now."

[Riza]

"I want that Chiss," she said, not expecting a response as she watched Mekota.

[Nekoinu]

"Oh. Yeah," Mekota said, stroking his snout in thought. He patted himself down and then gave up. "Give lady the comm num," he barked to his assistant. And sure enough, the number was handed over to Riza.

"Good, yeah?" Mekota compulsively reloaded the energy pack in his blaster pistol. "Yeah. My appointment gonna know pain. Then death. Hope it in that way. Dead people know nothing."

[Riza]

Collecting the number immediately had the intended affect, and Riza was far less on edge, "I'll inform Axel of your interest," she said, with the deference to his power in this place given. Though, a little grumpy from the whole ordeal, she had what she wanted and that was satisfaction enough.

She looked to Mekota, and almost told him to enjoy himself, but the thought never left her head.

[Nekoinu]

The last interaction was Mekota giving a small nod before signalling some of his goons to follow him. They checked their blasters and other implements of murder as they marched on. And soon enough, the rodian was off to have his fun.

[Riza]

When they were gone, Riza shook her head and then exited the building. Thumbing the number in her hand before tucking it away in her utility belt. Phase one of the plan, complete.
