[Day 2, EA] Just a Part of the Job

[Riza]

After their talk, Riza waited for the woman for the bar to meet her at the ship. Dressed casually, as she wasn't intending on leaving the ship anytime soon she sported her usual top and open vest that revealed much of her arms and midriff. Boots and cargo pants completing the look.

When she collected the woman she intially brought her to the lounge area, figuring it was a safe enough space to talk for now. Feeling the need for some rest time after the hunt, a little time out of the armor.

[Nekoinu]

The bartender walked around the ship, her hand casually hovering by her openly-holstered blaster pistol. She wasn't looking for trouble but she did know it was often dangerous to go onto a ship of a relative stranger.

Still, apparently she liked to live dangerously, for she was aboard the ship. "You know," she said, "You're not what I expected under all that gear." Her lips curled to a smile. "Make of that as you will."

[Riza]

Leading her into the lounge, Riza indicated the open space with plenty of options to relax and saw herself behind the bar. Wearing a smirk as she did so.

"Part of the intent," she said grabbing a bottle of something from behind the bar, "but you will not find many Chiss outside the Ascendancy and that made you guessing all the more unlikely."

[Nekoinu]

The twi'lek took a seat at the bar and sniffed around. "Smells like zeltron," she murmured. She glanced around and looked back at Riza. "All sorts of different species aboard this ship, huh?"

[Riza]

"A few," she said, thinking on it for a moment but shrugging. "Only saw another Chiss and humans since my time here. They have grabbed a numerous number of walks of life, like myself whom is just a hunter on the outer rim. Never know who would know who, or who would bring who aboard."

"Mandalorian's don't seem to care much who you are, just what sort of steel you're made of."

[Nekoinu]

"Sounds like the stories I've heard," the twi'lek replied. She looked up at the decorations and then smirked. "Is this a recruitment attempt then?"

[Riza]

"They've not won me over that much," she said, finding a couple of glasses and setting them out beside the bottle.

"Though, they have certainly a good idea for entertainment. Bagged a Krayt today," she said, pouring the first of the two.

[Nekoinu]

"A krayt dragon?" The twi'lek narrowed her eyes, assessing if this was a lie or not. Then she smirked and shrugged. "Alright, I can't doubt that."

[Riza]

"I'll find you some proof," she said, pouring out the second glass as well. Pushing the first in front of the woman.

"I believe," she began, taking her own glass into her hand and resting it at waist height, "that we had spoken the other day about more work you might know of. Some offers you might be able to make. Though I may not need this work as I used it, it would be dreadfully boring without something to pursue. Now that the Krayt is dead, at least," she added this last thought as if she recalled it just then. Almost a little somberly.

"But I believe," she said, "before we begin there we should have an exchanging of names. Mine is Riza, and that is what you may call me."

[Nekoinu]

"Now the table's have turned," the bartender jested, taking the glass with a warm smile. She glanced at it and then the rest of the bar. "Good stuff."

She nodded along to the huntress' story and eventually perked a shaded-in eyebrow. "Oh?" she replied, "You brought me aboard to talk business. Surely Mekota filled you in on all of the juicy scoops.

"As for names, call me Seela."

[Riza]

"I am ever the woman to find all the angles, and to see which one... has the biggest payoff," she said, bringing her glass toward her mouth but holding it still.

"What did you come on board for, Seela?" she asked, the lightest touch of a smirk resting on her lips

[Nekoinu]

"Curiosity," Seela answered plainly. She traced the edge of her glass with her finger, smirk on her lips. "And perhaps opportunity. I didn't end up on Tatooine like most twi'leks. I'm the adventurous sort."

[Riza]

"I can entertain curiosity," she hid the smirk by taking a drink from the glass. Setting it down in front of her as she continued, "Looking to find your way off this rock then? Some part of you hoping you just might have found your ticket?"

[Nekoinu]

"Maybe. Though it isn't so simple." Seela took a sip from the glass and kept it by her lips. "I'm not Mekota's slave but he does expect me to stay around. And hey, it's not too bad there, but too many people get killed in there for me to want to stick around."

[Riza]

"You owe him a debt," she said, matter o' factly. "That or he has something on you. Whatever it is, doesn't quite matter."

[Nekoinu]

"Debt," Seela clarified, "Long story. My point is, you're in good with him based on what i saw."

[Riza]

"I am," she said, thinking about taking another drink but deciding against it. "At least, enough that we have worked together in the past and he knows well enough how useful I can be. When I have a mind for it."

Riza looked to the woman, sized her up from what little you could tell by her eyes, and then, "Make your pitch, what are you trying to get at?"

[Nekoinu]

Seela smiled as she was looked over. By the end of it, she started chuckling and shook her head. She took a long drink from her glass and then set it down.

"I don't owe Mekota money. He pays me pretty well for a bartender in these parts. He just wants me to stick around because of my talents." The twi'lek gave a wink. "That and I'm not a junkie like so many others, including himself..

"We've just had conversations where he's said that it'd be in my best interest to stick around. But maybe if I just pay him back with a favor or something, he'll be fine with me leaving."

[Riza]

"Why tell me this?" she asked, circling the liquid about the inner part of the glass, "what are you looking for from me, advice?"

[Nekoinu]

"That's why I'm laughing," Seela said, "You don't owe me anything." She finished up her glass and then set it back down on the bar. "Maybe, for a moment, I just thought we'd up and leave this planet."
